This is a contest entry for the ever so lovely ~(*q*~)
the characters name is Yami and he is an Utauloid (that's right i said he, its a boy. deal with it. hes adorable )
ok were gunna do this *BlueRoseArkelle style and write a SUPER long description and make the words so small that you cant read them <3 (i love you arkelle dont take offense to that)

i cant believe i actually did this. I'm truly amazed with myself. the name means rebirth in Japanese (i think. I'm not sure cuz i used google translate. and you know how accurate google is... correct me if I'm wrong please) (nvm DA sucks and wont let me use japanese characters)
i tried to incorporate all of the things that she likes. the field i thought was kind summer looking, the wedding dress, and i attempted the dutch angle.

the background was a COMPLETE pain in the arse. i had to go brush hunting and blah blah blah.... although photoshop made it 1000000 times easier. But the clouds wanted to go off of the canvas rather than go where i clicked. the grass wanted to color white rather then green so i couldn't do as much shading as i wanted.... which really irks me.... and as for the sun.... that is a story all on its own... I'm annoyed that the glare isn't a purple , green, orange blend.... I'm pretty sure you cant even see the glare but w/e, its there, love it.

i ended up quitting for 3 days because i couldn't blend the skin like i wanted to. it was a throw-my-computer-out-the-window-and-never-draw-again time in those 3 days, so much frustration. but then there was a light in the tunnel and i found the density slider in the water color tool, and thus life continued.

if you're wondering why Yami is an angel well.... that's a funny story.... you see, i read the things that tsunyandere like too quickly and read 'dutch angel' rather than 'dutch angle' my thoughts were "wtf is a dutch angel..... w/e it says angel therefor yami shall be a pretty angel " i read it again when i was done with the line art and say it said dutch angle rather than dutch angel and i face desked. i said "screw it I'm keeping the wings and changing the perspective" and that is how that happened. ._.

The egg was a pain too. i had to make all the lines facing the sun white or else it looks odd, also the original egg color blended into the sky so i had to change the color to a less amazingly beautiful color.

i took so much time to put a pretty pattern on the bracelets and you cant even see it wtf (i have no idea where that came from but at this point my fingers are my brain so w/e) I attempted to make a sleepy, lifeless look. since yami is just waking up from his sleep (or being born, idk what to call it) you know how when you first wake up and you're pale and have kinda a half asleep thing happening? that's what i tried o go for... I'm not sure if i got it or not but w/e

anyway that's all i have to say, if you actually took the time to read all this crap then ur reward is a cookie</sub>

i hope you really love this as much as i do, i put every last piece of myself into it. i don't expect to win the contest (i mean seriously... that first entry is so freaking adorable. i have no chance) but i absolutely adore you and Yami. Just you looking at my art is such an honor.... it mean so much to me i cant even put it into words. So thank you and again i hope you like it. <3
